This natural Rx, moisturizes, purifies, detoxes, and elevates sluggish moods!
This at home "Spa treat" relieves minor skin rashes, chafing, burns, muscular tension, aches, pains, reduces inflammation, and wards off sickness!
Even if your skin is subject to every day general offenders such as pollution, oiliness, sweat, dirt, or your affected by sudden weather changes, emotional, and or physical fatigue, etc.
I find the following Rx to be the best for obtaining soft, clean, vibrant, healthy FEELING and LOOKING skin, Top to Bottom!
It's also a fraction of the cost and a "Green" Rx to buying loads of skin care products!
Read through the entire treatment before attempting for yourself at home and enjoy!
- 1 Mostly full, warm to hot tub of water.
- Add into bath water:
- 1 to 2 cups of Epsom Salt or Dead Sea Salt (The More Salt the More Detoxifying)
- 1/3 to 1/4 Soy Milk Powder or Powdered Milk (Moisturizing and Vitamins! +
If your Lactose Intolerant or Have Sluggish Feelings Use Soy-Milk Powder.)
- 1/3 cup of Raw or Distilled APPLE Cider Vinegar (Anti-bacterial Properties)
- 4 Tbl. Olive oil or, Grapeseed or, Walnut oil (All have excellent moisturizing properties)
Soak for 20min or more.
Have a LARGE glass of pure water with a wedge of lemon, if you wish. (Lemon adds Vitamin C, aiding in draining out the toxins.)
DO NOT get out to fast! It could make you dizzy depending how much detoxing took place in your body.
Added Skin Exfoliating Bonus:
- Mix together in a dish 5 tsp of Sugar, then completely cover the Sugar with Raw Honey or Agave, 1/3 cup or more. (Depending how much skin you want to exfoliate.)
- Mix into a paste.
- Add 5 tsp of salt into the mix for oily or congested skin.
I usually have a small bowl with the exfoliation mixture off to the side of the tub with my water in reach, a towel, wash cloth, etc. The exfoliating bonus is messy, but EXCELLENT, so I only do this exfoliation in a bath.
After I have soaked in the above treated bath water for 5 or 10 minutes, I reach for my home made "skin scrub".
I start with the T-zone area on my face, then apply the mixture onto a wash cloth or the like, to lightly exfoliate the skin of my face, legs, back, etc.
I have even exfoliated my scalp after summer time's heat... great... but, also a lot of rinsing!
