Like Sufism the art of painting is: absence in state of presence.. Presence in state of absence.
It is a twinkling, flashing --- lightening that abridges life in all dimensions and remodels it through a dream…. Through a panoramic, and yet a pinpointed perspective.
Although sight and insight are linguistically divergent, as the former signifies mere seeing and the latter denotes deep contemplating. However the art of painting blends them both in a wonderful melting pot of rebellious colors, thus it is the everlasting duty of a painter to edge our faculty of sight by inspiring us to deeply probe his unfathomable charming widow's curse of creation, in the same way as our faculty of insight is fostered by our store of restless dreams, buried deep within us.
Our painter Mahmoud Alhasi possess lavish experience in this field, He succeeded through many years --- in taming his brushes to embrace the life in whole.
