PREVENTION not Treatment

dear Creatives,

For the first time in my life .. and only after going through challenge after challenge ... tragedy after tragedy, have I realized that although I am "capable" of doing almost everything on my own .. how lonely this has all become without the support of friends & family. Currently, my own family thinks I am a bit luney .. because money no longer motivates me. I am passionate and inspired through beauty, love in action and causes that help ALL souls!

I am a breast cancer survivor, but as my life choices led ... it was not only the cancer, it was a divorce that almost extinguished my will to live. In the summer of 2005 I had almost convinced myself (with the help of a yogi in seattle) that life was not so bad and that if I wanted to have < insert dreams here > then I had to change ME. Take me back to ground zero and begin the rebuild process.

Long story short... I am in Tennessee, building a yoga community that has now connected with a team that's working to bring an Omega Center to the South! It's like all the dots, my entire life have connected to create a beautiful ... touching ... opportunity to work with others who are also building and loving and doing GOoD in their neighborhoods. So I am seeing the power of the collective co-creative process!

With that being said, as it so happens and just my accident I submitted this on a whim to www.Change.org

I am not a professional writer and this is NOT for ME - but I feel that if WE .. all of us..get together and decide that we do not accept the toxins being put into our food/water supplies THEY will have no choice but to listen and CHANGE
So, I am asking if you if you as the admin of this site would read the initiative / sign up / VOTE / pass it on.

We are 10th in the nation, but need over 300 votes to just stay in the running. No one wants to take responsibility for their part in their health care, but that is the only way. WE have to educate our self on what is in >>> the milk, why are our local farmers going out of business if they refuse to put toxins on their garden harvests. I am sure I have no idea what really goes on, what I do know is that WE can prevent much of the disease and that the cost of NOT doing so is very evident when we look at the health care industry (it's called industry because they make A LOT !!!! of money off of US being sick!)

Here is the link again, and the widget that I am asking you to post or send or do whatever ever your heart leads you to do-but I am doing something I don't usually do, asking for help. Maybe that was part of this lesson/journey for me - learning who to meet and how to ask so that we can unite and accomplish great things!
