Tracey, I see that you looking for ideas/assistance with getting your art out! I believe that the folks at NamaSpirit Collective (yoga studios, artists, musicians) can support your efforts and definitely do it in such a way as to respect your art and get it out to the masses. Working as teams, we are able to connect and unite in our support of independent artists!!

You can reach them at:

And see their efforts at the following sites:

Our planning committee is being organized for the 2009 Mountaineer Folk Festival. If you want to get more information please post it here:

It looks like you have added some new stuff! I love them. Your expression through glass is truly amazing.

Happy Holidays and keep in touch!

FYI, if you can or ever plan to be in Tennessee during the first weekend in September -- WE WOULD LOVE TO HAVE your work displayed at our Mountaineer Folk Festival.

At this point, I am trying to recruit new/vibrant artists for our 31st Festival in Sept 2009. I realize Portland is a long way from Fall Creek Falls Tennessee - but, ya never know? ;-D Plus if you like outdoors we have everything you would want right here at our park. If you are interested or know of an artist who will be in this area I will give more information and provide an application. This is a juried show, but your work would be wonderful here.
I will check back often to see your new art / creations.

Love & Light

I truly wish I was blessed with just half the talent I have seen from so many on this site alone! Perhaps my gift is that I actually feel (in my inner core) love through art and art from love. Movement is especially difficult when working with glass (IMHO). You make it look easy, but I have tinkered with glass before and it is NOT.

Our art is so personal and it most assuredly is a creation - thereby we do play god. But we are also led and can be just an instrument for God to express love through us.

I can definitely see spiritualistic aspects in your work. Also, as an artist I appreciate the unusual use of texture, line, and color to create movement through glass. Actually, the glass moves US.

Very nice.

Tracey I posted a fun video about making sculpture from inexpensive packing tape. I have never tried it. It might be interesting to try. Maybe you could watch it and tell me if you think this recycable medium is something we could just have fun trying.

Tracey thanks for joining the sculpture group. I really love your spirit tree. It has a powerful and fantastic design. I left some comments and questions for you on the group page. I know I am going to enjoy your insight and knowledge you can bring to this new 3d group. Please post as much as you can. Soon people will realise that we have a new 3d found object group. Thanks Karin
