- Born in Brooklyn, NY, raised in Queens, NY. Veteran of the United States Navy. Married to a sweet guy with two spoiled teenage brats and two dogs, Maggie and Jericho.
I graduated from Eastern CT State University with a degree in General Studies (focus in communication). Currently a graduate student in the MFA writing program at Western CT State University. Recently received the CT Community College System Minority Fellowship. I currently freelance as a writer and photographer and run my business, Overton Photography. My article, "What Happened to My History" is slated for publication for "Rise Up Magazine" in the July 27, 2008 edition.
