About Me:
Welcome!

Always learning and continuing too let go!

Poetry, I'm intrigued by the way words form thoughts
- many thoughts - different thoughts - different people -different times.

Music follows (singer, writer, player)

Photography, nature, I find it challenging to capture.

Don't like to spring up out of bed in the mornings...but do.
Sometimes willingly.

Learn, discover, explore.

Give yoga lessons, classes, workshops.
Musical guest come and play.

Keep me updated!

A journey and a fine balance. I wish you harmony!

There is a vitality, a life force, a quickening that is translated through you into action, and because there is only one of you in all time, this expression is unique, and if you block it, it will never exist through any other medium: and be lost. the world will not have it. It is not your business to determine how good it is, nor how it compares with other expressions. It is your business to keep it yours clearly and directly: to keep the channel open. You do not even have to believe in yourself or your work. You have to keep open and aware directly to the urges that motivate you. Keep the channel open. No artist is pleased. There is no satisfaction whatever, at any time. there is only a queer, divine dissatisfaction, a blessed unrest that keeps us marching and makes us more alive than the others.

-Martha Graham

Yoga off the Mat

I took a walk with my boyfriend today in Central park NYC, on the upper west side. We sat under a big tree near the tennis courts. My boyfriend mentioned having read a blog that he enjoyed called "yoga off the mat". Now I haven't read this blog as of yet, but the idea of it stuck in my head. I do the physical practice of yoga, take classes, and I think most people think only of the physical aspects of yoga. Then again there's much more... We went on to discuss other topics but..."Yoga off the ma… Continue

Thanks for the note. The bit about 'average' people not questioning themselves definitely got me thinking that maybe I'm meant for more I'm just not giving myself the kick to put myself out there. I'll let you know how things go.

LOL. Ange, thanks for clearing that up. I tend to get a little like that after I've been writing fiction. Because all my characters are inside my head, I know what they're thinking and at times it seems that everyone should know what I'm thinking.
So does that little elephant god of parking come in dashboard plastic? He'd look quite interesting next to the Virgin and Jesus ;-)
And we can always use a little help finding an open space to park.

I think I look more like Curt Cobain (when I'm more closely trimmed) than I do slash. But then, I kinda look like Jim Morrison at the moment - the "American Prayer" version, of course. Hey, with the right photographer . . . I could look like a lot of folks . . .
