what I have been up to.

Rock lapidary diamond blade band saw.

First item made, key chain.

Two tumblers, one three pounder and three 1 1/2 pounders. So I can tumble 7 1/2 lb at a time.

A double 6lb so I can tumble 12lb at a time.

Bought rock. jasper, green,red and brecciated. Agate, india tree,mex lace. Amethyst, banded and india. citrine. 24lb of rock in all, 15lb is in the rock tumblers now on their first week of tumbling.

Beach rock. I tumbled this for a little over a week and it looks just as when I picked it up on the beach, maybe a little smoother but these were not to pretty or didn't turn me on much so I did not take these to the remaining next three grinding/tumbling polishing levels. The ones I did like I put back in the tumblers and they are on their second week at the second step of the number 2 grit.

Rock saw.

Grit, these come in kits of 4 steps grinding and polishing. I ended up buying bags of 5lb of each step. Interesting about a pound of grit/polish for each pound of rock tumbled.
