- Johannase Itten has two ns. I misspelled his first name. There is alot about him online. His book The Art of color costs around a hundred dollars. It is a beautiful book. I own the shorter version that is around $40.00.

- I have a book on color by Itten it was very expensive. He is probably online under Johanase Spelling? Itten. Betty Edwards wrote a very good book on Color titled Color Acourse in mastering the Art of mixing color.I found the paperback at Hastings for $17.95.

- Itten is a fantastic color theorist who developed theories of color like Albers. Itten was a member of the Bauhaus and I personally like him better then Albers who I find boring.This group is not over your head it is very flexible you can post and discuss what you want as it relates to color in your art or photos.Color can make an image pop as Tracey said it can add so much to the image and imagination.I need to develope a more personal color.

I am sensitive to the vibrations in color and how when used correctly can bring forth joy or sorrow or whatever emotion you are trying for. You need to know your intent when choosing color as it will make or break your piece.
